Interesting belt fed AR

A while back I had the opportunity to photograph a very rare and unusual rifle. It is a shorty AR carbine that has been converted to belt fed. This little toy would be a power house of fun. I don’t have any additional information on the rifle.

The book “Fabricacion De Fusiles”

A while back I was able to obtain a few books that I did not have in the reference library. I have a thing about not only gun books but also machining and manufacturing books. So what could be better then a book about manufacturing guns. This book was written in 1899 and is about […]

Rare Carcano rifle

In my youth I had the opportunity to look at and take a couple of pictures of a very rare Carcano rifle. Judging on the way I look, with hair and all and not that many wrinkles, these pictures were taken 35 years ago or so. It is not often that you get to see […]

Shooting the Hotchkiss protative

At the last machine gun shoot I spent a great deal of time playing with my Hotchkiss light machine gun. I enjoy it like I enjoy my Lewis gun. That is to say a lot of things are going on to make the gun work. It is just a fun gun. There are a few […]

Fixing the 1919A6 barrel

This is kind of an after action report on the 1919A6 barrel that was involved in the accident. The last post on the damage to the 1919A4 due to some Turkish ammo showed a barrel that had a case stuck in it that the base was sheared off.

With the cost of everything these days […]

More on the type 63 Chinese rifle

I kind of like the look of the type 63 rifle and a goal is to eventually make a semi-auto ATFE legal one for my self.

It really has a nice look to it.

A couple of close ups.

These last 4 photos were pulled from the internet.

So I have had a quest […]
