This is a bolt to the Brondby rifle in 7.62×25.
It was another trials rifle that was made in limited numbers.
The rifle fired from an open bolt ,which unfortunately means that I can not made one here. It is a gas operated rifle that uses a vertical cam locking mechanism.
Bolt and carrier together.

A close up of the action open and closed.
England must have been seriously considering adapting the 7.62×25. According to some, they also tested a BSA-Kirly in both 7.62×25 and 9mm.
Looks like it would be nice little carbine to shoot.
gas operated is not the best solution, why not a simple blowback ?
Hi gents.
In my fruitless attempt to discover what the bolt was from I discovered two seemingly rare Italian carbines & some interesting rifle gauge photos.
One is the Italian Moschetto Automatico Tipo Terni Modello 1921.
The other is “fucile automatico Terni mod.21″ “automatic rifle Terni mod.21″
