Well thanks to a member over on 1919A4.com I got hold of the entire set of drawings for the original 1918 BAR. I have finally finished modeling the entire gun in Solidworks. I’ve been done with it for a while except the stocks which as usual turned out to be a colossal pain in the ass.
Very cool seeing all the custom tooling to make the BAR.
I wonder what happened to all the fixtures used to machine the BAR receivers?
