According to the VG1-5 article on Wikipedia, it’s 3.09 Lbs.
But according to http://www.orions-hammer.com/blowback/ , a bolt for a blowback 7.62×39 (closest to VG1-5 on list) would need to be 6.3 Lbs ! The original rifle was 10.1 Lbs, total.

It could benefit from widely available tried and true magazines and caliber.Also, calibers are very similar so action would not be compromised by very much different specs.
But thats just a suggestion.
