Probably requires scientific test apparatus beyond your budget though. I wonder if they worked this out when it was designed ? 

It might be interesting to see what happens with no gas ports if you have a test rifle you don&#039;t mind damaging ?]]></description>

Even short one, like 1 inch or so long, coupled with some brass deflector end, would help, imo.]]></description>
