Hello Authur, Sorry about the misdirection to AR-180B sites. I have not held, let along shot, an AR-180 since 2009 and 1982 respectively. Good luck finding parts. Check with Armalite to see if their repair folks have NOS of AR-180 parts. About three years ago the Armalite repair techs had AR-180B parts that were not on the Armalite website. I was able to get a few 180B parts from the repair team.

Hello Alex,
Many thanks but the AR-180B safe/fire is a piece that I don't require. But thanks nevertheless.

"Hello, I am asking if you have any plans to make a bolt hold open for the AR-180. Looking forward hearing from you soon, Arthur Benjamins

Good Sir, Look on Gun Broker and use the search ar180b and you will find a seller of bolt hold up lever for $95.00. As I recall the website: Ar180S.com also sold a kit with the bolt catch, Spring, and pivot pin for around $125.00. Best of luck in your search for parts. R, Alex"

Hi Alex - many thanks for your reply. It is the AR180 bit I was looking for. The "B" denotation is a different design whereby the return is governed at the actual pivot point in the frame, unlike the 180, which has a welded-on lug with a rather over-fussy spring loaded pawl is inserted and pinned. If anyone has a working drawing of this piece, I'll happily make it myself. Many thanks indeed - Arthur

Hello, are you manufacturing the necessary parts to build a Nodak receiver? I'm interested in converting a 180B, but the prices for them have nearly matched a real 180. So if need be, I'd like to do a Nodak receiver, and use a standard 180 upper.

Any information you can supply is much appreciated.

Take care,

Lenny
